Is pet insurance good value for money?
We think the answer to that question is a resounding ‘yes’.
Paying a monthly premium to be safe in the knowledge that you can afford treatment for your beloved pet in the event of an accident or illness is a no-brainer.
Say you get a vet bill for $3,000. With pet insurance, you’ll have to pay something towards that, depending what deductible and reimbursement options you’ve chosen, but your plan will still cover a large slice of that. Without pet insurance, you’ll have to pay the whole amount.
And vet bills are going up and up every year…
- An X-ray can easily cost $250
- Knee surgery often tops $5,000
- Cancer treatment is usually $10,000+
